Birth of Stars (Earthy Version) by Sasha-Anne Ditchen“Inspired by a previous camping trip to Death Valley, I was in awe of the night sky untouched from polluting city lights. I remember lying on an outdoor table with my buddies several feet away from the crackling campfire, looking up—almost as if I can swim through the stars. However, there were no lush trees in the area, this was just a preferential addition to the piece.”  Drawn with charcoal, and later painted in Photoshop along with the addition of more star clusters. ——————————————————————- I’m heavily inspired by pastel colors, dreamy & ethereal atmospheres; things of which can be easily found in nature, like sunrises, sunsets, after a rainy day or even space. Through my work I hope to capture the same escapism I experience when seeing those things, whether in reality or fiction.  You can see more of my art and works in progress at— tumblr | deviantart | society6 | arthouse co-op | instagram
